I am always asked the same question everytime someone finds out I ride, Why?  The old line of if you have to ask you won't get it just doesn't seem to get through their heads.  Especially those that really want a answer.  After awhile I just tell em the truth and let it go.  I ride cause the only person that I have to worry about is me.

I know, I know, what about the cages!?!  Don't you worry bout what those people in their cars are doing around you?  Well of course I do.  DO I sound stupid to you??  What I truly mean by that comment is while on a bike you can let the wind roll over you & not worry bout answering your phone or changing the radio station.  I don't have to worry bout my kids acting up & them not staying in their seats.  I don't have to listen to my husband talk on and on about bills, the work day or anything else.  I don't have to be what everyone else needs, I can just be me.

While riding the only thing you have time to think about is the road and what it can do to you.  You are watching the idiot in the truck with his cell phone to their ear tyring to write something down.  The car full of young people talking and texting away.  No body sees you and if they do most think you crazy anyway.

I am a woman biker and I ride for me.  To bad nothing else in life is as easy as that.

Motorcycles scrae the HELL out of me, They are not safe at ALL. I'M JUST JOKEING. I ride a 2010 kawasaki vulcan 900 classic. I love that bike. I have ben riding for well over 15yrs. I have had alot of different bike, but this vulcan tops the list. I live in Tucson Arizona were i can ride year round, and i do ride year round. I love the wind hitng me as go down the road. I agree with alot of the guys and gals saying that riding solo is relaxing, I belong to a M/C called the sun riders m/c I like riding with the club when we go riding, I also ride with a few friends who belong to the P.G. I would say its split down the middle, I ride with my club and then the other half of the time i ride with a few friends with the P.G

Some women enjoy shopping.  That's my wife's thing.  Riding is my thing.  We both enjoy what we do.  I don't tell her she can't and she doesn't tell me I can't either.  Sometimes I will go shopping with her and sometimes she will get on and ride with me.  We have a 37yr strong marriage.  It works for us!
