my idea was to take the trunk lid off and start cutting the trunk up. My bike was going to get home no matter what I had to do to get her there. So my concerned friends came up with a better solution. Angle iron and big bolts. I will take the front tire off and run this rod thru the forks in its place then mount the bike on the hardware which is bolted to the space where my licence plate was. It's too early on sunday morning for my help to arrive so I will let you know later how the new idea works out, and again when I am home how it all turns out. it's only 400 miles, and if she didn't have an electrical issue I could've just ridden her. but alas, she is sick and must be babied. ;( So, if you are anywhere between NE and IA and happen to see an old ford towing a yamaha it's me! Please don't run off the road laughing, but do wave!

Miles: 83
