Biking - how its supposed to be - you 'the rider' and your friends and mates CHOOSE what to wear, where to go and how to get there - no nanny government bolox :) And of course no bike ride is 'proper' without a cup of tea :)

Thanks NightHawk for this post/page. Really enjoyed the pics and the comments. Seemed that most of the roads were gravel/dirt and they didn't seem to have any 'protective clothing' or helmets. That was a time long past... Loved their riding clothes.... and the gal that went with them, awesome!

Wonder, did they camp out or just hit the local hostels? Didn't see any camping gear other than a tea pot.... Fun stuff!

fascinating, the old beast still purrs over like it was new,and only 2kicks to start,takes me longer 2 start lawn mower,loved the docs on old Triumph,my 1st bike was a 1955 speed twin,only 2 triumph,s i didnt ride,was the 350 and trophy.
