Comment by Nighthawk on October 11, 2011 at 1:26pm Biking - how its supposed to be - you 'the rider' and your friends and mates CHOOSE what to wear, where to go and how to get there - no nanny government bolox :) And of course no bike ride is 'proper' without a cup of tea :)

Comment by Edgewalker54 on October 10, 2011 at 7:42pm Thanks NightHawk for this post/page. Really enjoyed the pics and the comments. Seemed that most of the roads were gravel/dirt and they didn't seem to have any 'protective clothing' or helmets. That was a time long past... Loved their riding clothes.... and the gal that went with them, awesome!
Wonder, did they camp out or just hit the local hostels? Didn't see any camping gear other than a tea pot.... Fun stuff!
