jenniferboyds said… Oh ok, yeah, thats is definitely better. I thought you were gonna be rippin' the whole thing down. And honestly it aint a bad idea depending how long it has been since you have done it you know. I mean, I like to call it preventive maintenance. LOL Of course a job like that would mean you started way too late in the season but hey, get er done! <Oh Did you feel that? I busted those chops for ya!)
jenniferboyds said… You mean the bottom barrel gasket? DAMN....that definitely sucks! ALWAYS put BOTH High Temp RTV on the gaskets AND Loc tite on the bolts man..rule of thumb. You should know that already! LOL I am just bustin your chops of course... <wink> 39 eh? WHOA thats hot! lol Hell thats warm enough to put some leather on and go tho. Take what you can get right? I sure do! Anywho....good luck with everything, Better to tear her down in the winter than have it break down during riding season right? Might as well do everything right while you got her all opened up. Talk to you soon.
jenniferboyds said… Hey, thanks for checking on me. I am well. Just don't get on the computer very often is all. Hope all is well with you too. Was 63 degrees here in MD yesterday, sure was nice taking the scooter out in February!
Crom64 said… it's not really pretty(my scoot paint) been a flat black kinda guy ever since I started riding so many years ago, every bike I have ever owned has been FB took some good paint jobs offa them, but there was just always something too cool when I'd look my bike over and say "Oh f***, I scratched my paint, pull out a can of FB and re-spray it on the spot, peoples eyes would bulge as if a light bulb in their head just went on...so I fully understand the sentiment...thing is I just like the effect, cause it is FB and then pops ya, I call it the "Acid Trip" effect...*smile*
jenniferboyds said… Looks good! I personally (if I do it) will leave it flat black just the way it comes out the can. lol I am a basic kinda gal. I mean my Shovel is Gun Metal grey and the Pan is a flat black. The ONLY bike I have that has "pretty" paint on it is the older Superglide, that's only because my step son begged me to let him paint it. He did a helluva good job too. Just too damn shiny for this girl......thanks for the info
jenniferboyds said… Yea, you DID ask that question, and yea it IS close by. I was riding last weekend. Got near 60 degree's here and that to me is riding weather enough.... Sounds like fun, we will have to hook up sometime and hit the streets for sure.
jenniferboyds said… Just joined this page so bare with me.... I aint all about this computer stuff., llol Thanks for the request.
