Oh and one more thing weight and vibrations height of pipes on a long ride would snap the pipes right off,plus the heat would dry rot that leather strap in no time ,dont bull shit some one who works on his own bike and his friends,and his brothers bike as well.

Custimizing is cool as long as done right and done safe,so before you go calling other people small minded think before you make assumptions , you know what happens when you just assume, you make an ass out of ones self, and other bikers have posted not legal in many other states as well,let me know the day he can ride straight through to Daytona , and also i would have to see it to believe it have friends that are 6ft 4 with super apes , and there arms get tired so on that note go bull shit some one else .

New paint...Nice!  A little too much reach for my comfort but what to hell...it works for him. As for all you safety Nazi's, you have nothing to fear.  I'm certain you don't travel the same roads.
