Comment by katrydser81 on April 23, 2012 at 8:04pm i'm having some elect issues with my '81 250, does anyone have the manual for this model and would you be able to scan it and post so i can see what goes where. i am new to doing anything electrical and really need a hand. prior to parking her she'd start then wouldn't, the battery would be dead. when she does fire up all is fine mechanically. I have removed tank and covers, headlight. so far i only see one frayed wire in the headlight, it's pink. whadda think?

Comment by Sweet Tater on February 8, 2012 at 3:35am Hello everybody!! My name is Lisa aka Sweet Tater & I ride a 2002 V Star 650 Custom. This year will be my 2nd yr. riding. And I'm LOVIN' it!!!! I'm just south of Memphis, TN. And Me & my Husband (Tater) ride with 2 other couples as much as we possibly can.
I have a 2002 V Star 1100 Classic and I love riding it. It has 61,478 miles on it and I put 6 thousand of those miles on it last year. I put 4 thousand on my car. I live 63 miles north of Sacramento and ride whenever it is not real cold or raining. I'm going to put a new clutch on it soon but other then that it runs good. I belong to the Patriot Guard Riders and make trips to the Sacramento Airport to welcome our Soldiers and Sailors back home. During the summer months I make trips through the Feather River Canyon. Beautiful Country up there. There is a Scooter Cafe at the top of one of the mountains. When it is hot in the valley I spend allot of time riding in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They are real close to where I live.

I love this pic. A bunch of us met up to ride over Thanksgiving 2010 weekend and it just so happened we were all on Yamahas.
