I have a 2009 XVS 1300 with a fuel pac, hypercharger,and vance hines 2into1 and this thing is a torque monster,I love this bike more than any i have owned!

Hello all, I have an 06 Vstar 1100 custom. This weekend I had problems starting it. Battery is good, thought I had a bad starter. Finally got it going but it started making a clattering sound.

This worried me some. A mechanic friend was with me when it happened. Long story short, after some investigating he said it was probably my starter clutch with the problem.

I found out that pre 2003 Vstars had this issue.

Has anyone else here had this problem? If so, can you tell me your experience from the time you broke down to the bike getting fixed? Cost, time it took to repair, any thing you can think of.

I just put 2 inch pull back risers on my  07 1100 and man the ride got somuch better it took 3 blocks to get used to but now i love it

I have taken the bike to work everyday this week, even when it was 19 in the morning.  I have to admit...that was a little cold!

Hi to all i have a 04 , 1100 custom i bought it from new just out of the crate and i knew by sitting on it that i wanted it,so i paid for it then started it up. i would'nt swap it for any HARLEY. it has been customized a lot ie: 10" overs with a 18 degree rake.lowered suspension 2" and a lot of other mod's.it is 9' long with a 3' sissy bar.its my wheels.

Hello to all. I have a V-Star 1300 '07. I could not have asked for a better handling bike. I have a question. I have put on a roadhouse slip on muffler, for a bit more sound. I would like to know if any one has used the Baron Big Air Kit on there 1300 and how much the performance differed. Also did you use a Power Commander with the Baron?  I Thank you for your input.
