Guy at ATS said no - reckoned 4 main dealers said no but no real technical on why not. I use nitrogen in my car tyres - notice that they hold pressure longer and more consistently. I understand it does not expand and contract as much as air so…Continue

It's only the last few years that I have taken it off in winter. It's the salt on the roads that do it for me. I took it out one year and didn't wash it down straight away, now I have salt marks on the front forks..... Though the way the weather is going I may keep it on over winter.... You ride safe too Scony... ;0)

Nice bits Imp, good looking bike you have there.
Harley Sparkey, you should consider keeping your bike on road all year round. Winters are not what they used to be, and there are many opportunities to have great outings in beautiful (if cool) winter weather ...
