RTE @ Coney Island Dogs .. This is an all day ride, some of it will be on I-75. and may be cold so please plan for it...This is a LONG RIDER event. The Long Riders are like us in that they love to find great places to ride to and eat. Sooo that being said come on out and join the fun the ride the old n new friends and of course the food......

We are riding to Solomon's Castle in Ona, FL this Sat. 3/9/11.  Meeting at the Shell Station in Punta Gorda on Route 17 just West of Hwy. 75 at 10:00, KSU at 10:30.

Nice ride - 7 of us rode up the Manasota Beach Rd. along the way to Casey Key.  The beach was beautiful.  Trish & I went for a swim and the others sat in the shade watching the porpoise and boats traveling thru the jetty.  Great day!

Anyone want to ride to the North Jetty on Casey Key?

Cheap hot dogs at the fish camp, watch the boats come in and out of the jetty and pack your swimsuit because the beach is clean, clear and beautiful!

 

Meeting place:  Turtles / Lil Brat's House /  Port Charlotte

What a perfect day last Sunday for our 9-County ride.  Seven of us went and ending up having lunch in Lake Placid at "No Frills" restaurant.  Weather was great and we got to ride the whoop-de-doos twice.  Still can smell some orange blossoms.  Only incident was a truck lost it's tire tread just after passing us.  Luckily we dodged it as it rolled to the edge.

HEY DA OL' TURTLE IS BACK RIDIN in the past 3 weeks I have along with my NEW Wife logged about 600 miles.... Have to take it slow rite now but will be ready for some long hauls soon I hope
