Comment by Biscuit on May 15, 2012 at 5:30am Thanks for the feedback Ryan, Pastor Rod, and Feelthethunder! Looking forward to next year when I get home and pick the pick up at a local dealership. It does need to be loud for sure.

Comment by pastor-rod on May 9, 2012 at 9:46am Biscuit, I put Vance & Hines slip-on on mine. They sound great and sometimes when I'm in a parking lot or especially a garage they will set off car alarms, my 12 year old loves that. There are a lot of options available and I'm sure that you will get most of them on this forum. Good luck, stay safe and come home. Thanks for your service to our country!!!!
Comment by Feelthethunder on May 9, 2012 at 4:52am Hi Biscuit.........I have an 07 and have just put a set of "Bassani Megaphones" on it with a crossover kit (cant remember the conversion kit make, i will find out ) and they sound and look amazing, as well as amazing performance !!
Comment by Biscuit on May 9, 2012 at 2:32am Okay I have now ordered a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic through the Harley Davidson Military Sales Program for $17,000 here in Afghanistan. That's a $2,000 savings over MSRP in the states. I will pick it up in New York next year when I get home God willing.
My next question is about the exhaust pipes. I would like them louder than factory pipes. I have looked online and see lots of choices. Since I am new to all this stuff, can I get some feedback/advice regarding louder pipes?
Thanks.

I own a 2002 Heritage softail and I love it. I started out on a Honda and I got smart in March 2011 and bought my Harley. I can't believe the difference in the handling is from the Honda.. I wouldn't trade my Harley for anything now.
