First and formost im new on here, so i will give yall some back ground. Ive been riding since i was 7 or 8 and im now 44 you can do the math. Ive been a heavy line auto tech for 20 years, welder, fabricator, creator of awsome (that wasnt ego its true  I dont buy bolt on parts for my machines I modify or build from scratch) and im not trying to advertise for some other BS. I bought my 76 xlch 1000  january 2010, pushed it home in the snow, and started tearing it apart, it hadnt ran in 14 years. I had over 500 pics of tearing it down and building it lost em on this damn pc  but there are 60 or so pics of  it on bikepics.com

I like the fat tire.....My Shovelhead bobber has the 21" but I like the look of wide glide with fat tire.  I got that set up on the 84 Sportster I just got.  It has 16" fat on the front.  I'm liking the fat tire look on it but that's just me. Any bike builder will do what matches their own fingerprint.

Welcome It's great to see someone who turns their own wrench. Makes you a "biker" other than those who are helpless at the first sign of trouble.  Not many "posers" in this group.  We build our own here!
