SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Hundreds of local motorcycle enthusiasts gathered Sunday to fulfill the dream of a sick child.

13-year-old Josiah, who suffers from Spina Bifida, mentioned recently that he wanted to see and hear a hundred motorcycles ride by his Carlsbad home.

Excellent weather, excellent ride, and a huge smile on the face of a 13 yo boy who loves motorcycles...particularly Harley Davidsons. Josiah's dream was for 3000 bikes to pass by his neighborhood at the same time. We were hoping for 100 (realistically). The word went out via radio stations and biker groups and we ended up with nearly 4000 riders. There was also a group in Australia that got together and posted a video for Josiah on YouTube and I heard there was a group in England as well.

This is the family I am most proud to belong to.

See? We're not ALL bad...

Good job guys and gals. I bet he was so happy

Joshua"s got real class...and all the biker's as well. A very sincere "Good Luck, Joshua!"

AWESOME!!! He asked for 3000 bikes, was told to be realistic and hopefully 100 would show up. But what did the brothers and sisters do??? 4000 of them showed up and totally WOWED Josiah. That's what being a biker, a friend and a fellow human is all about. Our future lies with our children. It's up to us to make their hopes and dreams come true. God Bless all.

This was sooooo AWESOME!!!! God truely came through for him in a Grand way, WTG everyone, Bless You All.

Yeah... all of us bikers are all criminals. Yeah right. Get a life general public. Would you do such a great heroic thing for a young child . Probably not. I love all my bros and sisters. Ride on

GOD?????? What the F? God had NOthing to do with this............The  brothers and sisters did it all.............PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems nobody in the news can count, though. There were well over 4000 bikes. Closer to 8000 to 10000.

Was an honor being there to see this young smile.

I just want to thank all of those of you who have the spirit to support this little boy! This is why I served my country and this is why I ride, because of people like all of you!

Wish I could have been there.

Wow!! Best story I've heard in along time.....
