Rare Motorcycles Stolen From Collector's Home in Armed Home Invasion

BEL AIR ESTATES (KTLA) -- A motorcycle collector was tied up and threatened with a stun gun as robbers stole two vintage bikes from his home.

Police say two men in a "Rent Me for $19" van burst into the home on the 900 block of Linda Flora Drive around 4 a.m. Saturday to find the homeowner and his wife inside.

The suspects then threatened the couple with a Taser and tied the man up with heavy-duty tape as the wife fled the home.

They then stole two rare motorcycles, one from 1914 and one from 1952, worth more than $1.5 million.

(someone needs to talk to jay leno)

Obviously not a biker cuz robbers tryin to get by the guard dogs whould wake a biker who would greet the robbers with at least some artillery.

Those should be easy to trace!

I heard a story a few years ago about 2 thieves that stole a gold plated harly from outside a pub in London.  they couldn't find a market for parts or bike as It belonged to the president of HA England. needless to say, it was returned quite quickly

More details.  You Cali folks, spread the word.
