Watch Out For Bikers
I just bought a vulcan 1500 and love how smooth it rides -have had a few problems such as speedo going out on first day and only getting 119 miles per tank of fuel . Wife and i ride on Sundays and she loves it but wants a more comfortable seat ,any suggestions on a more padded seat? We also belong to the ALR post 12 in Wickenburg ,Az-just north of Phoenix .looking for other riders in our area for short rides for lunch and such .

One on the best bikes I ever owned. Enjoy and ride safe.

I don't know if you plan to attend any of the Bike Week festivals coming up soon, but here in my area during Thunder Beach (Feb and Oct) we typically have a vendor onsite who'll modify that seat for you so that it's more comfy for your passenger. Having ridden tandem before myself, it's important to have some good padding as the back passenger tends to get the worst of the bumps along the ride. These folks place a thick gel pack inside your current seat, stitch that baby back up better than new, and you're on your way. I was very impressed with the level of comfort the modification provided. I've got mustang seats on mine and find that these are the most comfy, front or back. But that gel pack helps tremendously.
