Fatal accident in Fort Myers
LEE COUNTY: Lee County deputies and Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating a fatal accident at Babcock Road and West Carnegie Circle in Fort Myers.
According to FHP, an SUV collided with a motorcycle this afternoon. The rider of the motorcycle, 63-year-old Philip Baker, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
Troopers say Arjuny Jani was the driver of the SUV and he has been cited for voilating the right of way with more charges are pending. Jani plays on the FGCU soccer team.
Troopers say speed and alcohol were not factors in this accident.

He wasn`t wearing a Helmet? Why is that the first thing we read or hear? It`s like saying the biker caused the problem by being on the road riding ?! All my sypathy is for Philip`s Family and friends
